Ask the Right Questions
To help you make an
informed decision, Anthelion has compiled a list of questions to ask
before purchasing your Torque Turn System.
What to Ask? |
|
Our History in Torque Monitoring Design:
Our first torque monitoring system, the
Torque Master, was developed in 1989. It was designed to monitor and
control the connection of tubular goods using a DOS based computer.
The complete system comprised of the remote box (Torque Master), a DOS computer and a power supply. Another version of the Torque Master was the Torque Master Only which comprised of just the remote box and the power
supply. This did not have computer interface for our customers who did
not need data reports. Two years later the Torque Master was upgraded by
redesigning the controller card to make it run faster and include more
data.
The next in our
product line, designed in 1999, was Torque Master 2000. It was also a
DOS based program, however the difference between that of the previous
Torque Master is that the newer model was a self contained unit. It
included the remote box, PC, keyboard, LCD display all in one completely
integrated package. |

Torque View™
Our latest and greatest, cost effective, model in torque monitoring is
Torque View™. Developed in 2002, this system is the first to be based
in Windows XP
or 2000. Torque View™ is an improvement of the Torque Master series
in both electronic and software design, including an
upgraded
processor and an increase in memory. It is designed to be much faster
then its predecessors in order to communicate with the Windows
program. It produces very accurate readings and is easy to configure
and operate. It utilizes high speed digital signal processing and
control decision making methodologies. This innovative design is a
result of our 15 years of experience in torque monitoring systems and
our 20 years of experience in hardware and software solutions. And it
does not end here. Our research and development department is
constantly making improvements to provide you a product that is truly
over the edge. Also available is our Torque View™ Only which
measures torque for tubular goods and drill strings only. If you would like to know more about Torque View™
