Question: What is a torque turn monitoring system?

Answer: A Torque Monitoring System is a system that is used to measure the torque and turn values when making up connections (Casing, Tubular, & Drill Pipe).  The torque and turn values are important because enough force must be used to connect the pipes completely without damaging the pipe or leaving room for leaks.

  Question: What is Torque View™?

Answer: Torque View™ is a computerized torque turn monitoring system that is based in Windows XP/2000. It was designed specifically for Windows environments and is compliant with all Windows products. The Torque View™ software was designed to run in the background to minimize the performance impact on other applications that are running.
